Thursday Day Mixed Draw

The Thursday Day Mixed League is an 8 end curling game format and games are played in a time slot from 8:45 am to 2:00 pm depending on the number of teams. There are five Rounds of 5 games in each Round (subject to Club Closing date and available ice time). A sign up sheet is posted prior to each Round for players to sign up for a preferred position as Skip, Vice, Second, or Lead. The League convener makes up the Teams for each Round by adjusting the players and requested positions to make an even number of Teams for the Round. New Teams are created for each Round based on requested positions and the number of players. Scores and points are awarded for each game in the Round, A Prize pool contribution of twenty dollars per player is distributed to the top teams and players in each Round at the end of the year. Novice curlers are welcome.
